Full Equipment for Tool Making, Repair & Mods – Partner with Us for Cost-Effective Product Launch

Our own in-house tool room is equipped with CNC machining centres, Wire EDM, Die Sink EDM equipment, and high speed machining equipment. This gives us the capability to manufacture tools in-house but also to provide important repair, maintenance and tool modification services. ​ ​Whatever your needs might be, from basic tooling capabilities to developing innovative mold designs, Yutong will work with you to cost effectively get your product into production

Design & Engineering Support

Every tool starts with DFM review and Moldflow analysis to verify filling, warpage and cycle time before steel is cut. Our designers deliver 2D/3D mold designs in your preferred format and keep you updated at each milestone from design to T1 trial.

In-House Tool Room

Our own tool room is equipped with CNC machining centres, Wire EDM, Die Sinking EDM and high-speed machining equipment, so we control accuracy and schedule in-house — and we provide mold repair, maintenance and modification services for the lifetime of your tool.

Mold Building FAQs

How long does it take to build a mold?

Typical mold/die lead time is 2-4 weeks depending on size and complexity, with T1 samples provided for your approval before production.

Which mold steels do you use?

We work with all common tool steels (P20, 718H, H13/2344, S136 and more) and recommend the right steel grade based on your resin, projected tool life and cavity count.

Do you ship molds worldwide?

Yes. Molds are carefully packed, insured and shipped with complete documentation, and we support remote or on-site mold trials at your facility.
